What We Offer

Greater Expectations Learning Center  (GELC) provides two well balanced meals, Breakfast and Lunch, and one snack.  The meals and snack meet the nutritional requirements.  Safe settings are provided to facilitate daily physical activity for all age groups.

GELC is not only concerned with the educational development of the child that attends the program but we're also concerned about the overall health of the child.  GELC is in partnership with Blue Skyy Therapeutic Services, LLC.  Blue Skyy offers therapeutic services to our children, families, and staff.  The goal of this offering is to cultivate a culture of optimal metal health and holistic well-being.

Yoga sessions are also offered to the children in our program to enhance the social and emotional development of the child.

​

Gardening is an additional aspect of the program that is offered.  Children realize how foods are grown throughout the gardening process while again enhancing the social and emotional development of the child.

Our curriculum includes the following subjects: Arts & Crafts, Sensory, Science, Language Arts, Computer, Music, Drama, Manipulatives, Physical Education.

GELC is an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Grant recipient.  This grant is only awarded to high-quality preschool programs in Ohio.  The purpose of this grant is to prepare your child for success in Kindergarten.
